Choose the colors in your wardrobe which define you perfectly well
Color Wheel |
So, here we learn to make an effort to weave various colors in our wardrobe and make our life more colorfully contrasted or synced, as the occasion demands.
Some of us are the rare species - who are born talented; an eye for expertise and color sense. But, some like me are born color blind; choose color just for the heck of it or just hide behind any color which is colorless.
Well, if you join me in search of color in your life and style; don't despair. It's okay to be imperfect. I made numerous mistakes and style blunders before reaching where I am today. Hold your chin up and let's make some color choices.
Generally, we step into a showroom or store and go through all their range to choose the color and style we want. Right?
Then we place the dress near our face and shoulders to check out if that dress color is brightening up our face, if yes, we buy that outfit. It is a natural selection and we vouch for it all the time.
We have one more option - we choose a color from the color wheel and weave our style around that color option. Keeping more appealing colors closer to our face or upper torso and less appealing colors downwards or just for adding details only.
- We choose color according to occasion, too. A sweet little black dress is a common phenomenon, but you have more options of adding grey or red/pink/purple for formal or informal dressing respectively.
- A dress in a single color but different tints and shades of the same color also gives exciting illusion.
While choosing our style, we may make a statement by adapting the color in various shades, even the accessories need not be the same shade and tint but different ones to make the look more varied and interesting.
If we experiment more, we get to know more colorful facets of our life. If we notice tribal and rural women in their traditional attire, sometimes we get to have some shockingly new insights into the color world.
Go colorful. It's one life, after all.
